B and Auto Electric has opened in Palmetto with more than 4500 square feet of auto service area. B and E Auto Electric has amalgamated Island Starter and Alternator of Anna Maria Island and Hunt Electrical of Ellenton into one super location in central Manatee County! Now serving Bradenton, Palmetto, Sarasota, Ellenton, Ruskin, Parrish and Anna Maria Island.

Long time Manatee County resident, Bill Carlbert Sr. purchased Island Starter and Alternator in 1998, and transplanted his family from Orlando. His sons Dave and Bill Jr. helped him make the Island business a winner. They then bought another location in Ellenton; Hunt Electrical.

In order to provide all their services in one central location the Carlberts have now moved all their operations to the new super service center at 4610 Hwy 41 N, in Palmetto. A new location and a new name : B and E Auto Electric. The same great service and prices.

New and rebuilt starters and alternators, full automotive service, auto electric for all makes and models as well as farm and heavy equipment service, professional welding and race car fabrication are the hallmarks of B and E. Other services include Custom Vinyl Lettering and full service U-Haul truck and trailer equipment rentals.

In addition a fine selection of quality pre-owned vehicles will be offered at the B and E super service center.
